PLANETARY TOOL KIT 4: ANTIOCH
Antioch is a heavily settled colony world. Famous for its single, asteroid-impact continent, the planet has been heavily exploited for the incredible mineral wealth of platinum, petroleum and Carbon 60 fullerite found at the impact site. Today, this most wealthy and prosperous of colonial ventures is wracked by guerrilla war and civil strife. Where mining companies once flocked to make a killing, now mercenary groups drop out of orbit to make their own type of killing. It seems as if Antioch hates humans: micro-organisms play havoc with delicate circuitry, desert dust cripple grav craft, thick jungles prove impenetrable by vehicles and aircraft, prolific, almost sentient vine growths somehow interfere with radio transmissions and seem to intentionally sabotage any machinery they encounter, alien insect and animal life infest settlements and ruin equipment. Few places on Antioch enjoy peace and stability anymore - this is a tinderbox world, with guerrilla wars, insurgencies and corporate sponsored mercenary activity. Nothing short of complete independence for the nations of Antioch will bring peace to the troubled world, but the corporations are still hungry for the riches of the planet, and they want a return on their investments.... This world is ripe for Traveller mercenary campaigns, with a score of plots, mercenary-orientated NPCs and opportunities.
This Planetary Tool Kit is double-length, featuring five maps, colour art and sustainable play ideas!

PLANETARY TOOL KIT 3: MAZANDARAN
Mazandaran is most famous for its World River, a single river that cuts a channel almost the entire circumference of the planet. The river forms the heart of Mazandaran society, it is the life-blood of the economy and a single ribbon of settlement wrapping itself around the world. Society is civilised, law-abiding and peaceful. Once disparate tribes governed separate stretches of the river, but unification was followed by the institution of a sophisticated governing administration. But no-one goes to Hatrasis province. Tribal politics going back over a century fuel a modern-day insurgency there, a guerrilla conflict that the Mazandaran government is quietly attempting to put down with determined military force. Provinces on the river are links in a chain, and Hatrasis cannot opt out of the chain ... and so this easy-going government wages a brutal war that is played down and hidden from the sight of the average citizen.

PLANETARY TOOL KIT 2: KORINTHEA
A waterworld where 760 million live on an island the size of Sicily. A world with incredible overpopulation, where people are murdered for their organs, where crime gangs control the government from behind the scenes, where no-one has any privacy, anywhere at any time, where food is recycled from rubbish bins and millions live in desperate shanty-towns ... Off-worlders are not just a novelty on Korinthea, for many people they are a way off planet. Get sucked into the ultra-urban mega-city of Korinthea... PDF $5.00 BUY HERE PLANETARY TOOL KIT 1: UBAR
Ubar is a dusty, dirty little rock with no oceans and an atmosphere too thin to breathe. It’s a poor world; miners and ranchers live a fitful existence out in the dry hinterlands. Ubar’s only saving grace is the Pit, a 977 km-wide asteroid impact basin, an 11 km deep hole punched into the planet’s surface. Down at the bottom of that crater is air thick enough to breathe comfortably. Most of the population live inside the crater. It’s the outcasts and the impoverished who must weather the nasty extremes of the hinterlands up on the high grounds. That’s where most of the real adventures are to be found! PDF $5.00 BUY HERE |
